The customs division on Sunday arrested six individuals on the Chennai Airport for making an attempt to smuggle gold and international foreign money hidden underneath their hair-wigs.

Officers say that the 2 passengers had been making an attempt to smuggle in gold from Dubai. In line with the reviews, the officers seized 5.5 kilograms of gold price Rs 2.53 crore and international foreign money price Rs 24 lakh.
