<p>The Prime Minister had taken his first dose of the vaccine on the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi on March 1.</p>

<p>Sister P Niveda, from Puducherry, administered the Bharat BioTech’s Covaxin to PM Modi.The second part of the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive for individuals above 60 years and people aged 45 and above with comorbidities started on Monday.</p>
<p>The countrywide vaccination drive was rolled out on January 16, 2021, and the vaccination of the Frontline Staff (FLWs) began on February 2.&nbsp;</p>
<p>As many as 2,52,89,693 crore doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered thus far, the Union Well being Ministry knowledgeable on Thursday.</p>
