New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has landed herself in a pool of legal troubles lately. Known for speaking her mind without the fear of its consequences, the ‘Dhaakad’ actress has been making the headlines for calling out people not only from the film industry but also political personalities.
While there are many legal notices that have been served to Kangana, the actress was recently accused of ‘grave violation of the sanctioned plan’ for her property in Khar area of Mumbai. A court also dismissed an application filed by the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress last week, reads a report in PTI. The court has, however, given Ranaut six weeks’ time to approach the Bombay High Court against the order reportedly.
Reacting to this report, Kangana Ranaut took to her Twitter earlier today and said that she has not joined any flats and revealed that the whole building has been made in a similar way. She also alleged that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is only harassing her in the entire building. The ‘Tejas’ actress further went on to say that she will fight this in the higher court.
Kangana tweeted, “Fake propaganda by Mahavinashkari government, I haven’t joined any flats, whole building is built the same way, one apartment each floor, that’s how I purchased it, @mybmc is only harassing me in the entire building. Will fight in higher court”.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of New Year 2021, the ‘Queen’ star hosted a brunch for the team of her upcoming movie ‘Dhaakad’. She posted a video on Twitter wherein she can be seen assisting two guys in the decorations. The ‘Manikarnika’ actress lauded the entire team for working tirelessly throughout the holiday season. The tinsel town diva expressed her excitement after returning to Mumbai in her tweet.
“Hosting a small brunch for my #Dhaakad team, whole team is working tirelessly even through holiday season. Feels so good to be back home. P.S looking at you 2021 be good,” she wrote on the micro-blogging site.
Kangana will be seen portraying the role of ‘Agent Agni’ in ‘Dhaakad’. The movie will go on floors this month.
Other than ‘Dhaakad’, on the professional front, the ‘Manikarnika’ actress will be next seen in the biopic ‘Thalaivi’, where she is essaying the role of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. She also has ‘Tejas’ in her kitty in which she will play an air force pilot.
