The Delhi Energy Ministry on Friday directed all buildings like malls, procuring complexes, cinema halls/multiplexes, workplace areas, resorts, eating places, hospitals with parking capability of over 100 autos to put aside a minimum of 5 per cent of parking capability for electrical autos (EV) with appropriate EV chargers.
The state authorities has issued formal orders on this regard. In line with the order issued by the Ministry of Power, the Delhi authorities, 5 per cent of the parking capability needs to be reserved for electrical autos and gradual electrical chargers should be organized within the car parking zone.
